Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on July 10, 2023 at 83 years of age. The World has lost an incredibly intelligent, loving and caring person. A special thanks to Cheryl and Patricia who took such good care of our mother during her struggle with cancer. Mom was the beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Scott (2021) for 63 years. Loving mother of Daniel (Karen), Cheryl (Dave), Patricia (Dinis) and James. Proud grandmother of Spencer (Tanya), Logan (Chloe), Christopher, Tara (Rory), Ryan (Krista), Corey (Vanessa), Karley (Wendell). Precious great-grandmother of Jasper, Sullivan, Everett, Austin, Sadie, Sydney, Lyra, Lola and Frankie. Predeceased by her parents Angus James MacDonell and Lilly (Rome), as well as her sisters Sheila Laramie and Karen Marchand (survived by Claude Marchand). Loving sister of James MacDonell (Pauline) and Christine MacDonell. She will also be missed by all of her extended family and friends.

Special thanks to all who cared for our mother at the Cancer Center, all staff on the 5th floor (Met Campus) and the Palliative Care Unit of Hotel Dieu Grace Health Care. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held.
