It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Jean Audrey Southen on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Jean passed away peacefully at the age of 98 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husbands Edward Carey and Bill Southen, parents Harold and Emma Parker, and sisters Evelyn Grant, Dorothy McCurley (Gerry) and Audrey Henderson. Loving mother of Marlene Prodan and Edward (Eddie) Carey, and mother-in-law of Adam Prodan. Dear grandmother to Nicole Kenehan (Kevin), John Prodan (Amanda Hoyt) and Michelle Marentette (Bruce), and great grandmother to Kayla, Jacob, Ellie, Aubree and Charlotte. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, Patti Turner (her caregiver who assisted in her living independently for more than 10 years), and many good friends throughout the years, including neighbours Beaulah and Miriam. Rest in peace, Mom. We have so many good memories together. We will always love you and will keep you in our hearts forever.
