Obituary for Jean Elizabeth Pittao (Kalbfeisch)
On May 20th, 2021, Jean Pittao passed away peacefully at 77 years old, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Raymond Pittao, and was the loving and devoted mother to Ray Jr. (Shelley), Andrea (Greg) and Paul (Renata). She was the proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren; Victoria, Brianna, Christian, Samantha, Jacob and Paisley. She is also survived by her two brothers, Eddie (Marilyn) and Bill (Jean).
Jean will be remembered in many ways. Her patience and kindness was shown in her years as a schoolteacher, and later, in teaching her grandchildren. She was an artist who had an appreciation for all things beautiful in the world. She spent many hours cultivating her garden, and loved to spend her days amongst the flowers. She had many admirable traits; her courage, strength and unfailing sense of humour, all of which will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be greatly missed, and forever cherished.
