Obituary for Jeannette Maxim (nee DeGuire)
In true Mom fashion, she waited until a moment of quiet solitude to pass away peacefully on June 1, 2022 at 88 years of age.
Beloved wife of 66 years to Charles. Loving mother of James (Mar), the late Janice, Chuck (Theresa), and David. Adored mémé to 10 grandchildren: Jamie, Jordan, Jacob, Tara, Bradley, Cheyenne, Deliah, Dean, Leah, and Darcy. Cherished great-grandmother to 7 ½ great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Helen and Irene. Predeceased by her parents Henri and Cordelia DeGuire, and by her siblings Réné, Maurice, Henry, Réal, Marie-Anne and Simonne. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to the staff of the Magnolia Ward at Huron Lodge, especially Rose, Courtney and Colleen who were exceptional in their care of mom. An extra special thanks to her cherished niece/”daughter” Catherine for all of her love and support.
Jeannette’s unique laugh and sense of humour will be sorely missed.

Visitation Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 2-5 p.m. and Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 10:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 am at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, (519)969-5841. Cremation to follow.
