Jeff Aqwa
Our warrior Jeff passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer on October 1, 2019 at 36 years of age. Loving husband to Sarith Le. Cherished father of Gabriel, Scott, Evan and to his “fur kids” Sushi, Toby, and Ty. Beloved son of Jo-Ann Aqwa & Michael Renaud and son-in-law of Rin Chhom & Poch Le. Devoted brother of Jeniffer (Philip) Rolls, Michael (Eva) and the late Scott Aqwa and brother-in-law of Veth (Sambo), Chan (Jenny), Tour, Reth (Tim), and Brian. Jeff will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
He was a valued member of the Local 494 Carpenter’s Union, and Windsor Aquarium Society. He enjoyed playing Pickle Ball, euchre and bowling.
Jeff was an amazing artist, and saw life through a different perspective than most. To honour his memory, Jeff challenged family and friends to live by going out into the world and experiencing nature, it’s beauty or simply drawing a picture; these were things Jeff loved to do.
If you so desire, donations towards Jeff’s children’s education would be appreciated by the family.
Cremation has taken place.
