Obituary for Jennifer "Jen" Thibert

Passed away suddenly and peacefully surrounded with her loving family by her side on July 6, 2023 at age of 63. Devoted wife and forever best friend of Leo. Loving mom and best friend to Jenelle Barrette (Neil), Jared (Michelle Chauvin) and Jordan (Alicia Pollock). Amazing nana to Nathan, Hayden, Layla-Grace, and Landon-James. Reunited with her parents John “Jack” (2011) & Helen (2015) Heydon. Cherished sister to Jack Heydon, Jill & Jim Beaugrand and James & Shannon Heydon. Daughter-in-law to late Leo (1993) & Albertine (2021) Thibert. Sister-in-law to Mimie Dumont (2023) & Glen Guild, Robert “Bob”(2021) & Lynda, Shirley, Jack (2012) & Anna (2014), Emile & Lynda, Suzanne & Frank Bonadonna, John & Francesca, Richard & Renee and Theresa & Claudio Viselli. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and especially by her fury companion Luna.

Jen was a devoted lifetime worker of A&P (Metro) in Riverside for 40 years and will be missed dearly by her former co-workers. Jen took pride in every flower and plant she put into her garden to create a beautiful backyard oasis. She looked forward to her yearly trips up to cottages and being outdoors. She was always there when you needed her or a shoulder to cry on. We will miss her smile, love, hugs, cooking, conversation, laughter, and presence.

Her pride and joy were her grandchildren who she loved spending time with, whether it be colouring with them or being at the sidelines of sporting events cheering them on. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Zehr and the Staff at DMC Harper University Hospital 9ICU for their fantastic care and compassion during her time there.

If you so desire, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
