Obituary for Jim Colombe

Unexpectedly on Dec 2, 2022 at the age of 68. Loving husband of Annette for 46 years. Dear father of Mitzie Scott and husband Jay, Jodie Colombe-McDonald and husband Tom. Cherished papa of Brianne, Bryce, Julia, Jake, Meika and Hudson. Dear brother of Cathy (the late Phil), Marlene (Joe), Linda (the late Borden), Cheryl (the late Jerry), Gordon (Mary), Leonard (Rachael) and predeceased by Ronnie (survived by Audrey), Richard, Larry (Mary), Kathleen. Predeceased by his aunt and uncle Mary and Frank Renaud, and his parents Abby and Jeannette. Lovingly remembered by his large extended family.

Jimbo was an avid bingo and card player, who also enjoyed going to the casino. He loved to watch UFC and wrestling, go for fish and chips, and putz around in his yard. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart. Through everything, he always loved his family. Anyone who met him, instantly loved him, and he was always the life of the party. Along with Annette, who was his best friend, he travelled to many destinations, and eventually purchased a home in Florida, where both he and Annette developed great friendships.

If you so desire, donations to Brentwood Recovery Home would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Friday, December 9, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of a Funeral Service to Celebrate Jim’s Life at 1:00 p.m. at Families First, East Windsor, 1065 Lauzon Road (519-969-5841).

Cremation to follow.
