Obituary for Jim Morand
Born May 7, 1936 – Passed away March 4, 2023 peacefully surrounded by family and his wife Dianna. Beloved father of Jamie (Wayne), Jimmy (Jennifer), Step father to Paul and Alain Marcotte.
Proud Grandfather of Jennifer (Brian), James, Kyle, Olivia. Step Grandfather to Marie and Nate.
Jim was born in Windsor, he was one of 14 children born to Oda and Beatrice Morand. Jim is predeceased by 10 siblings and survived by Shirley Mosher (Bob), Rose Chichkan, Len Morand (the late Gloria). Jim will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Jim worked at GM Trim as Union Chairman for 25 years. In retirement he enjoyed winters golfing in Florida with Mike and Bob. Jim loved going on cruises. He loved playing hockey with the Bendo Blazers.
As per Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. If you so desire donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
