Obituary for Joan C. Zakoor
Passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022 at 89 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Alfred “Alfie” (2021). Cherished mother of Joal (Brent) Malenfant, Marc (Joan), Denise Zakoor, Matthew (Christine), Christian, Jonathan (Patti). Loving Gram of Damien and Katie, Jordan, Jessica and Judah, Emerson and Rudy, Paul, Samantha, Spencer and Nathan, Madison and Makenna, Kellie and Jamie. Great-Gram of Ethan, Maya, Emma, Rory, Carson, Julien, Ruby, Teddy, Daizy. Dear sister of late Larry (Ann) Dumouchelle. Survived by sisters-in law, Connie, Terry, Barbara and Carol.
Joan retired from Grace Hospital Admitting Department (1988).
If you so desire, donations to Brentwood Recovery Centre would be appreciated by the family. Cremation was held.
Memorial visitation Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm with parish prayers at 4pm at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., 519-969-5841.
On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, friends are invited to join the family after 10am at Our Lady of Assumption-McEwan Campus (Holy Name of Mary Church) (681 McEwan) for Memorial Mass at 11am.
