Peacefully surrounded by her cherished family in her 83rd year on January 31, 2020. Reunited with her loving husband of 56 years, Mike Kendell (2016) and loving mother to Mark Kendell and wife Lia, Dean Kendell and wife Lynn, Denis Kendell and wife Sue, Jennifer Leslie and husband Gordon. Proud Grandma to Virginia, Matt, Donna (Ryan), Jennifer, Charlene (Corey), Amanda (Seb), Renee (Jason), Danica, Joshua, and great-grandmother to Nathaniel, Kevin, Evan, Anya, Angel, Megan, Nik, Hailey, Michael, Wyatt, Tessa and Sebastian Jr. Dear sister to Jerry & Doris, the late June & late Bill, Gary & Darlene, Carol & late Dennis, Ron & late Sandy. Joan will be forever remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Nelson and Gladys.

On Monday February 3, 2020 friends are invited to join the family from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral mass at Our Lady of the Atonement Church (2940 Forest Glade Drive) at 10 a.m.
