We are stunned and at a loss for words. There was no family event that his presence did not grace. He loved road trips. I know that distance was never an issue for those he loved. Thank you Uncle for the great memories. “Nike don’t worry I am doing fine” Yes sir you are until Resurrection morning good night.

Tributes from Mr. Adeogun's School-age Classmates at Adventist Grammar School, Ede, Nigeria

Thank you Moses for the wonderful collection dedicated to the treasured memory of our departed classmate, brother and friend, John Adeogun. I pray we all meet again in heaven when.we shall part no more.

🙏🏿Dokus Dokus, you're one of our treasured ones. I miss our days at School and at Abuja. How is my favorite home church at Abuja (liberty chapel) and how is Madam and our children? My regards. Stay well and stay safe and healthy. "Joonu" as we fondly called him, is gone back to Baba wa Oke pata pata the creator of the universe and owner of us all. We all need some consolation too because we have lost a dear brother and comrade who we all spent the better part of our creative and formative life together at AGS (Fondly referred to as "sebin day" grammar school by our famous lorry transport driver "No reading"). John, RIP!

I will forward them to Sister Elizabeth (Broda Caleb's wife), Broda Adewole Adeogun (our big brother), and our own Brother and comrade Ebenezer Olusegun Ajayi who was very close to our departed brother in Canada. They will surely forward them to the family. How are you my dear and how is our Mommy along with your family? Regards to all.

So sad. A good man gone. May his soul rest in peace

Wao, sad one indeed. May the Lord grant him eternal rest, and console the family he left behind.

Sorry to hear this, so sad may God comfort the family and the friends left behind

However old he was this is still sad news. May the Almughty God comfort his family and grant all that knew our brother the fortitude to bear this loss.

May his soul rest in peace.may God comfort the family left behind.

May His Soul Rest In Peace and May the Lord comfort The Family and Friends ...

Ha, Uncle John,

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of Brother John Adeogun. My condolences goes to the family in this their hours of bereavement. May God continue to watch over the family as well as everyone of us. IJHN.

What....I am so sorry to hear this. Our condolences to the entire Adeogun family.

May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Uncle John was indeed a Story teller. Rest well!!

It is sad. May the Lord comfort the family left behind.

It is a sock and a heavy heart to hear about the demise of Brother John Adeogun. He was a year our junior but a very very good friend.
In the early 70s, l always spend my holiday with him and Ebenezer Ajayi in Oshawa, Canada. It was a pleasure visiting and working in Canada then. He was just courting his wife who was in the same school with him then.
The last time we met during his eldest brother burial at Inisa some two or three years ago, he came with his wife (Gloria) and he told me they were grandparents then.
May his soul rest in perfect peace and may the Almighty God console his immediate and extended family. Sunre o, omo Adeogun!!!

May the soul of Uncle John rest in perfect peace

Though we know that nobody lives forever, it is still a shock to learn of the demise of Brother John Adeogun. He was the last born of the late Pastor and Mrs Adeogun. He was the ultimate big brother to a horde of young Seventh-day Adventist children and youth in the 1960s and beyond. He was a product of Adventist education, spent his school, college and university years in Adventist institutions. He was an accomplished gentleman. I am privileged to have met him at AGS, Ede in 1966 when I was in Form 1 and he was in Form 5 Special.
I commiserate with the extended Adeogun and Also families of Inisha, Osun State and the Diaspora.
Especially, I extend my family's condolences to the immediate family of brother John Adeogun. Our prayers are with you and your family. We feel along with you.
May his soul rest in peace.

The death of our classmate and friend, John Adeogun, came to us as a rude shock. But who are we to question God? I am sure he lived a fulfilled life

The demise of our classmate and friend came as a rude shock. But who are we to question God? Death is a debt that we all have to pay. It is John's lot today. We thank God John Adeogun lived a fulfilled life. Parting ways in 1966, Providence brought us together again in the late 70's in Kaduna where I was working. He came all the way from Zaria for a Sabbath worship in our church in Kaduna. He was a pious man. He was always very humble and humorous. Recently, through the Facebook account of Dr. Dele Omolosho( Jomo), also an " Advengrams" Ede alumnus, we maintained communication. The late Mr John Adeogun was a good family man, a lover of people and a good communicator. We loved him but Jesus loves him more. We will, by God's grace, surely meet again at His feet. To the nuclear and the extended family members I pray that in this period of grief, God will comfort you all and grant you the fortitude to bear the earthly loss. To all alumni, be similarly comforted. May we all make Heaven in Jesus Mighty Name. Dokun Adeniyi, Esq. (1961-1966 set)

May his soul rest in peace May the Lord comfort his Family

The Lord repose his soul and uphold the family in Jesus name.

No argument about the love of God towards our big brother John and family while here with us but I am struggling with the fact that his departure had to be so soon and not much time to say goodbye however we have the hope of Resurrection when we all shall meet again to part no more until then I'll keep on remembering a loving caring and cheerful brother with genuine laughter bubbly spirit, God fearing Cool brother John Adeogun ✝️💐Eternal Rest grant him O Lord. Amen. Love, Grace Folasade.
