It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of John, “EMY” on June 25, 2019 at 68 years of age. Reunited with his parents Christina and Clarence Emerson. Survived by his sister Gail (Colin) McLarty. Uncle to Jenny, Susan and Robb. Loving father of Katie (Matt) Asplin and Sarah Emerson. Proud Puppa to Bennett, Elsie, Elodie and Tannin. They were the light of his life. Puppa is blowing kisses from heaven. Will be missed by special friend Katherine Edwards. Missed by his beloved cat Babi, a stray he adopted after losing Cleo.

John retired from Canada Customs 7 years ago. He loved his family, friends and sports were his passion. He will always be remembered and missed by all who loved him.
