Obituary for John Rennie Fraser

Passed away peacefully at the age of 95 years, on July 22, 2019 at Huron Lodge. Beloved husband of Christina Fraser (nee Varoutis). Loving father of Linda Dykes and husband Colin, and John Fraser and wife Charlotte. Devoted grandfather of Matthew and wife Kayla, and Stephanie Dykes. Dear brother of Jean Moffat and husband Arthur, Marion McKim and husband Max, and James Fraser (all predeceased) and his wife Margaret. Loving uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews of the Fraser clan.
John was born in Windsor, Ontario to the late Ferguson and Agnes Fraser. He attended Wyandotte St. Public School and Kennedy Collegiate Institute. Following high school, he enrolled in the Ford Motor Company Trade School, graduating in the class of 1946. He worked in the tool room prior to furthering his education at Assumption College of the University of Western Ontario and graduated in May 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. John went on to work as a buyer for Ford Motor Company and in 1959 became an independent sales representative, establishing his own company, J.R. Fraser & Associates Limited. Memorial Visiting Friday, August 2, 2019 from 6-9 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Saturday, August 3, 2019, visiting will continue at Paulin Memorial Presbyterian Church (3200 Woodlawn Ave.) from 10 am until the Memorial Service at 11 am.
