Passed away peacefully on July 2, 2012 with his cherished son John Jr. by his side. Loving father of Sherri Hidi of Calgary. Grandfather of Chris and Scott. Predeceased by parents Frank and Julia Hidi. Will be missed by brother Frank Hidi and sister in law Gloria. Survived by cousins Joe Kovach, Julie Karam and Diane Kovach all of Ohio. Thanks to Chuck Polyak and Humphrey Rogers for being wonderful friends and to the entire staff of Extendicare, Southwood Lakes especially Celina, Director of Care. A special thank you to Dr. Sorenson for all of his efforts. John retired from General Motors, Trim Plant after 31 years and was a member of C.A.W. Local 1973. Visiting Thursday 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm.
