Obituary for John "Jack" Sherlock
Passed away peacefully, on January 10, 2021 at 100 years of age.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie Rose (nee Grannen, 1987). Cherished father of the late Michael, Dan, Tim (Jennifer), and the late Matthew. Dear grandfather of Kristen (Dean), Craig, Carly, and Ben. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Margaret Sherlock, and by his 8 siblings. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Jack was a proud Plant Engineer (Plant 3) at Chrysler Canada for 47 years, and a member of CAW local 1498. He was their longest standing employee at the time of his retirement, and during his career he worked on over 39 different car models and was known for his impeccable drawings. In his retirement Jack enjoyed many years of golf at Roseland Golf and Curling Club.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff of Huron Lodge, especially Tania and Jade, for their outstanding care of Dad.

On Thursday, January 14, 2021, reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 11:45 am – 12:45 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. You can reserve your time for visitation at FamiliesFirst.ca (RSVP) or by calling directly. On Thursday, a livestream link of the Funeral Service will be available on Jack’s online profile at 1 p.m. (in real time). A private interment will be held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery following the service.
