Passed away peacefully, in his sleep, on May 25, 2020 at 85 years of age.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Jones. Cherished father of Cynthia Arrigo, John Sheridan Jr. and Father-in-Law of Catharine Moss Sheridan. Master of his most beloved dog, Chia (Rambo). Adored “Poppa” of Stephanie Seeley (Jason), Melanie Photopoulos (Jake Evans), Johnny Sheridan, Michael Sheridan, Jessica Sheridan, Annie Sheridan, Jesse Jones (Nancy), Emily Moss, Ethan Moss, and his Great Grandson Julian. He will be fondly remembered by his "2nd Son" Ian Billsborough. Survived by his sister Grace Wicht. Uncle of Michael Boyer (Wendy), and Peter Boyer (Diane).

John was the proud owner of Windsor River Cruises.

A private family graveside service and interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery has taken place.

A Celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date when social restrictions are lifted on his boat, The Macassa Bay.
