Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on November 22, 2019 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of 64 years to Beverly Breen. Loving Dad to John (Michelle), Cathy Bannon (Peter), Michael (Kathy), Peggy (Bob Voyvodic), and Jennifer (John Monahan). Adored grandpa of Danielle (Jared), John W. (Amy), Jessica, Veronica, Kate, Grace, Kane, Brianne (Jason), Kara, Will, Rick and great-grandpa to Jameson, Elijah, Jackson and Jordan. Predeceased by his brother James and sister Mary Higgins (Jack).

Bill started as an educator, followed by a long and successful career as an insurance expert and financial planner. He was the founder of O’Kane Financial Group, now a 3rd generation family operation. Bill lead a full and vibrant community life. He was a charter and life member of the Windsor St. Clair Rotary Club, a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and he enjoyed a life long involvement in politics. He will be remembered for his great capacity for humour, conversation and optimism.

If you so desire, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor Essex County would be appreciated. Cremation was held.

Visitation on Sunday, November 24th from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Avenue, South Windsor (519-969-5841).

On Monday, November 25th family and friends are invited to meet at Corpus Christi Church, 1400 Cabana Road West for visitation from 10 a.m. followed by Mass at 11 a.m.
