Josef “Joe” Svab, 84, of Windsor, Ontario passed away on January 28, 2023 at home surrounded by the love of his family. Devoted husband of 57 years to Patricia. Cherished father to Christina Fleming (Mike) and Andrew Svab (Francine). Proudest Papa to Melina, MacKenzie, Leigha, Michael and Alysha and great-grandfather to Hudson. Survived by brother Sandor Svab of Hungary and predeceased by sisters Anna, Mary, Olga and Margaret. Brother-in-law to Marcel and the late Lucille. Predeceased by parents Sandor & Irma. Josef enjoyed spending time tending to his garden, cherishing moments with his children, grandchildren and great-grandson. Special thank you to Devonshire Retirement Home, St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Hospice of Windsor for all of the care provided for Josef and our family. If you so desire, donations to St. Elizabeth Healthcare or Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family. Cremation services were held.
