We are all very sad to learn of his departure to join pépère and mémère and our dear father Lionel. We know the pain you are feeling and wish to send you our warmest greetings and our sympathies. Maurice and Carmen were planning to accompany Jeanne, who very much wanted to pay her last respects, but we have just learned that the funeral mass is tomorrow morning, which would make the long drive in such a short period too strenuous for her. We all have fond memories of oncle Gérard and those of us in Ottawa who saw him on his last visit were again impressed by the sparkle in his eye and his warmth.
