Obituary for Joshua Gregory Yearley

It is with profound and heavy broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Josh on February 28, 2023 at the age of 31.

His memory will forever be cherished by his parents Gregory and Marlene (Knapp) and his brother Jordan (fiancée) Sheldon. Beloved grandson of his Meme Marie Anne and his late Pepe Marc Knapp (2015), and his late Grandma Thelma (2004) and late Grandpa Edward (1996) Yearley. Josh will be missed by his aunts and uncles; Shelley (Jim) McElroy, Marcella (Dale) Martin, Maurice (Audrey) Knapp, Madeleine (Murray) Kirzinger and Madonna (Chris) Hill. Josh will be missed by his many cousins and friends.

Josh was a charismatic, kind and caring person who had a love for the outdoors and sports. He was generous, outgoing, and had a passion for helping others. Josh put others before himself always being the first person to spearhead fundraisers for local organizations. Grandpa Yearley was always amazed by Josh and nicknamed him the 8th Wonder of the World.

If you so desire, memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
