Obituary for Judy Hawkins (nee Bertucci)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Hawkins, at the age of 64, after a hard-fought battle against COVID-19. Judy is survived by her husband Ron, and she was the Love of his Life and wife for over 40 years. Judy was a great mother to their Daughter Kristina (Andrew) and a loving Nonna to Hailey. She will be greatly missed by her brothers and sister; Rose (Wayne), Tony (Michelle) and Bruno (Liz). Judy will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins from Canada and the U.S.A.
Judy worked at Shoreview at Riverside for the last 2 years as an Activity Assistant; a job she loved, helping all of the residents on the 4th floor. Judy will be missed by her many golfing friends, especially those from the “Quadro” outings and trips, her Wednesday Super B’s golf league and their many trips together.
If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
Due to COVID restrictions, private family visitation will take place on Friday, February 12, 2021 and a private Funeral Service to celebrate Judy’s life will take place Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841).
