It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Julia Baines. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Derrick Baines. Cherished mother of Roberta (Mike), David (Cathy) and Eric (Eva) Baines. Loving sister in law to Margaret (late Doug) Mailloux and the late Hilda (late Bill) Whittle. Dear sister to Jim (Jan), late Terry, Philip and Christine Lyons of England. Julia will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Julia loved to make people laugh. She was a talented seamstress, cook, gardener and crafter, and most of all, her family was her biggest passion.

Visitation Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Friday May 12, 2023 at Families First, LaSalle, 2130 Front Road (519-969-5841).

Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, LaSalle.
