Obituary for June Vivian Simkins
Peacefully on December 3, 2022 at the age of 95.
Predeceased by her dear husband Gordon “Nipper” (2008). Loving mother of Ellen Simkins and husband David McCluskey, Bruce Simkins and wife Marianne. Predeceased by her parents Hilda and Chester Dunlop and her siblings Jean (Richard), Wentworth (Fran), Bert (Joyce), Orville (Ruth-Ann). Lovingly remembered by Don and Sharon Major, Linda and Jeff Zabel.
June was a very talented and multi-faceted lady who excelled from business to the arts, golfing, curling, and a love for dancing. She was a strong woman, who was admired by all who knew her. June had a clear mind and a sense of humour always. June enjoyed working in both Windsor and Detroit for many years. Special thanks to the compassionate and caring staff and dear friends at Chartwell Oak Park LaSalle Retirement Residence, as well as the staff of Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus.

Visitation Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Families First, South Windsor. Cremation to follow.
