Deepest sympathies and condolences to Jo-Ann and the Jennings family. It has been an honour and a privilege to know Karl the way I knew him. How many times I have walked into Scott's Auto Works and saw Karl sitting in the corner. He was the first one I knew that wore a mask however his mask was for fresh oxygen and not covid-19 type.. I will miss his funny jokes and great comebacks. I only knew Karl sober but a terrific testimony to a changed life. I will miss you

To Jo-Anne, Ann, Lynn, Scott, and family
Although we didn’t spend a lot of time together over the years, I always knew that my uncle Karl would be there for me if I needed him. Uncle Karl and I had at least one thing in common: a passion for golf.
One day when I was 13 or 14, Karl was visiting my dad's office (his brother). When he was leaving, he asked me to accompany him to his car. Once there, he opened the trunk and pulled a putter out of his golf bag. He said it was not working for him anymore, and perhaps it would cooperate better for me. For the most part, it did. I used that putter for over 30 years, and I doubt Karl ever knew how much his generosity that day meant to his young nephew.
Because my health puts me at a very high risk during the pandemic, I regret that I cannot attend the funeral. You will be in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days.
