Kay passed away peacefully on October 11, 2023 at the age of 93. Reunited with beloved husband Len (2001). Dear Mother of Bev and Bob Dunbar, Brian Brown and Kathleen Pistor, and Alan and the late Christie Brown (2021). Proud Grandmother of Philip (Jessica), Jennifer (Shawn), Jesse (Bea), Amanda, Jeremy (Sandy), Christopher (Jessie) and Jessica (Danny). Kay was very independent living on her own until recently. She was a devoted Christian exhibiting a strong faith and positive values which helped to guide her through life. She had many interests such as reading, knitting, volunteered for a number of years in the hospital gift shop, and was involved in her church community. Kay was a model in her younger years and continued in her interest in fashion throughout her life.

Special thanks are extended to Dr. S. Malone for his wonderful care in her later years. A special mention goes out to the Community Care Access team and Nurse Practitioner Dotsa, along with Hospice Dr. Nate Feinstein who all worked diligently to coordinate Kay's placement into palliative care at the Emara Centre. At the centre, she received loving care above and beyond by a team of highly skilled professionals. Lastly a special thanks goes to the team of health professionals at Lifetimes on Riverside involving Brittany, Holly, Cassandra and Anastasia.

If you so desire, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
