Obituary for Kerylin Hutchins (nee Ward)

With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Kerylin on March 25, 2023 at the age of 46. She leaves behind her husband Dean Hutchins, her son Matthew Ward-Trymbulak and his spouse Tia Willms and her grandchildren Laney and Danny. She will be missed by her parents Linda Roy, John Ward and predeceased by Richard Caza. Her brothers and sisters, especially her twin Melissa Ward, sister Marie Ward and brother Duane Schafer. She will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends especially Tania and Katie.

Kery loved her job, she LOVED taking care of people, her family, her pets and caring for anyone she could. She loved gardening, growing vegetables and cooking for people. She loved Detroit Red Wings hockey, playing cribbage and beating her friends at any card game. Kery was a proud Canadian and loved her country. She had a special knack for dealing with troubled people. In her younger days she was avid gymnast, always defeating her son at handstands.

In following Kerylin’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at Families First, 2130 Front Rd., LaSalle 519-969-5841 on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1:00pm until Words of Remembrance at 3:30pm.
Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society.

Kery’s love for others was immeasurable, we hope and pray she is at peace.
