Obituary for Lai Chun Wong
Having lived a happy and fulfilled life, Lai Chun passed away peacefully on June 14, 2022 at the incredible age of 107.
Predeceased by her husband Sing Chiu Wong. Cherished mother of Hong Wei (Grace), Ngar Chee (Ching Cheung), Toby (Man Mein), Stephen (Christina), Kitty, Kinny (Jeannie), Ada (Joe) and Franny (Chin). Deeply missed by her 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A loving mother, a caring grandmother and an adored great (great) grandmother. She was born in Japan, moved to China, eventually settling in Hong Kong, then immigrated to Canada. She was a kind-hearted, well mannered, appreciative and gentle person who was always so generous. Her life’s philosophy: be grateful, give when possible, dress to impress, eat well, stay young at heart, and BE HAPPY!
