It is with sadness and and deep emotions I have learnt about Lambert's death I Loved Lambert so much, I have always considered him as a second father. He taught me so much during my trip to Canada. He had such a sense of humour and was so nice, so bright and so curious about life. He was such an extraordinay man, the one you meet once in a life time if you are lucky. I am lucky. His wife trinawho must be so sad of course is in my thoughts. She will be in my heart on monday when I can't make the trip. My thoughts are also with Johana, Dan and Krist who lost their loved dad. I will miss hime a lot, because he's always been in my thoughts since my trip to Canada. I am so sad I can't be there. I hope someday I will be able to knee on his grave to pay a last tribute to such a great man. Lambert once again and for ever: I love you Caroline the French girl

Dear Triena and family, Anne and I were deeply saddened to hear about Bert. He was a very intelligent and multi-talented man. I have many fond memories discussing the weather and talking to Bert about his adventures as a radio operator in Labrador. Sorry we could not make it to the services as we are both sick. Dear Bert, Every time you were announcing your visit to Montreal and Repentigny, it was always with joy that we were expecting you and Triena. It was a real pleasure to see you, to listen to your new jokes and even old ones, to look at your air shows and trips pictures, it was so fascinating. It is with a lot of sadness that I'm writing you this message. But first of all, my thoughts are with you Triena, Joanne, Dan (& family) and Kristina (& family). Unfortunately we cannot be there because of schedule conflict but I'm with all of you in thoughts. I'm glad that we have been able to go to Windsor last September and have a chat with him. Although he was in a hospital bed, he found energy to tell a couple of jokes to my son and my girlfriend. Ça c'est bien lui! Dear Aunt Triena, thank you for everything, you have been wonderful for him. Dear cousins Joanne, Dan and Kristina if you need to talk please don't hesitate. Same for you Triena. My son Pascal and my girlfriend Danielle are expressing their deepest condolences to all of you. Mon Oncle Lambert, you have been a source of inspiration since my early days. You have transferred me your passion for aviation, astronomy and meteorology. You have transferred to my brother Alain the passion for electronics, and you have been successful transferring your passion for Flight Simulator to my son Pascal. You even maintain my Mom passion for aviation with your email, calendar, books, pictures etc. I will miss so much all of your emails. Whether it was for jokes, airplanes, stars or space shuttle pictures, your emails were always appreciated. I can also remember, before the internet and email era, the letters we were writing to each other or the Commodore 64 discussions we had. I also remember when we went to your place for Christmas and you gave me that little professor calculator to learn how to do maths. My son also used it for the same purposes, knowing it initially came from you and Triena. Wow! that's long time ago. I can also remember the letter I received from the NASA with the signed picture of Bob Crippen from the space shuttle Columbia, etc., etc., all that because of you. Mon Oncle, you were much more than an uncle for me. I think we had so many things in common. It is sad that we lived far from each other, because in my heart you were very close to me. Talking about heart, it was always good to see how much love you and Triena had for each other. Also in that aspect you have been a source of inspiration for me. Now it is time for me to say goodbye. I hope that from where you are, you will be able to see the stars the way you always wanted to. I will always remember & love you. Repose en paix mon Oncle. Your nephew Benoît.

Dearest Triena, Joanne, Dan, & Kristina: Our heartfelt condolences & deepest sympathy to you & all the Huneault family on the loss of dearest "Bert". It was not unexpected but nevertheless it creates a deep sadness in our hearts. Yet Bert's spirit lives on: not only with his Maker, but in the hearts and minds of you his fmily & all of those, like ourselves, whose lives he touched during his long eventful, successful & fruitful life. As we have loved him in life, let us honour & love him in death. We will always remember him in the Biblical sense of the word, as truly being "a Gentle Man" & "a man without guile"! We got to know Bert & Triena "over the garden fence" during our many visits to Theresa's sister Norma who lived next door. They were always so kind & very generous with Norma. It was those early fence chats that lead to us to an ongoing friendship & realization of how much we had in common: weather, astronomy, photography, planes, Canav books, etc. as well as that constant ongoing repartee of corny corny jokes & one liners! We deeply regret not being able to visit with Bert before his passing. Our plans were sidetracked because of our own age-related illnesses, hospitalization, & surgery, making it impossible to travel to Windsor. We regret too not being able to visit with all the family at the Funeral Home nor attend the Funeral Service this week.
