Passed away, surrounded by her family, on July 24, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Adored wife of Andy for 59 years. Loving mother of Chris McCann and partner Trish Martin, Kelly Panecaldo and husband Tony. Proud Grandma of Andrew, Matthew, Victoria, and Nicholas. Will be sadly missed by in-laws Jo, Roy (Violet). Predeceased by her siblings Gwen, Patricia (Bill), Jay (Betty), Tom, Germaine (Don), and Pat (Ron). Survived by many nieces and nephews.

She had a great circle of friends including the Hob-Nob group, and her card friends. Colleen was an educator at primary schools for many years and loved to instill her passion for reading into her students. ‘Book of My Own’ was a cause that she was committed to, which is a literacy campaign providing new books to disadvantaged children through various service agencies.

Visiting Friday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Saturday, visiting will continue at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mount Royal) from 9 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10 am. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery (Maidstone).
