On behalf of Bill and Jane and family, we would like to express our deepest sympathy in Leo's passing. Leo, Jeannette, Bill and Jane met while five pin bowling, became fast friends and play cards every Friday night. For years they locked in Friday night dinners with Leo. They looked forward to it every week sharing good times and bad. Leo was such a great guy and we all have fond memories of him. Every time we think of him, we smile. Every time we saw him, he would have a funny remark with his quick wit and sense of humour. Leo would say “when I go to heaven, heaven gets another angel”. What a pleasant thought. We will deeply miss him on Friday nights for the rest of our lives.

My family is very sorry for your loss. I remember Uncle Leo fondly as an awesome guy and I have many fond memories especially from my youth. He was very loyal and kind and hard working and he really loved his family. I always looked forward to our visits to the various Bezaire homesteads over the years. Uncle Leo had such a sharp mind and wit and a wonderful laugh that it was always fun to be around him and Aunt Jeannette. He also showed many kindnesses to my parents not the least of which included chatting with my mother on the phone in her later years when it wasn't always easy to do and bringing her shrimp plates for Christmas and her birthday during the earlier years when she went into care. I know that the Bezaire clan and their circle of friends are very close and Uncle Leo was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

We were very saddened to hear of Leo’s passing. We often commented that Leo had quite the social life - often times people were gathered at his home for visits and meals. It was evident that he was adored by his family! We thought it was so neat that he always had visitors. We are going to miss chatting with him as he drives by to head out for coffee. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. The Steed Family (2000 Suzanne) Lloyd, Kim, Jack and Ryen
