Obituary for Lilianne Brien
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lilianne (nee Doré), on February 19, 2021, at the age of 101. Predeceased by her husband Noel (1998). Dearest mother of Roger (the late Patricia), Claude and wife Joni, Pauline Bisson and husband Michel, and predeceased by Claire Duchene (1993) and husband Larry, Denise Ganley (2018) and Bernie. Cherished grandmother of Rachelle, Michael, Christopher, Brent, Whitney, Richard, Renée, Jennifer, Michael, Justin, Michelle, Chantal, and great-grandmother of 19, great-great-grandmother of 1. Predeceased by her parents, Romeo and Bernadette Doré. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Lilianne was the eldest of her 9 siblings and survived all of them.
Lilianne loved her family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with them. She occasionally entertained her grandchildren with her harmonica playing, and also enjoyed her daily glass of wine. Rarely did you ever see Lilianne without her hair done and her sunglasses. Over the years, Lilianne volunteered with Holy Name of Mary Church, and assisted with the yearly church bizarre. She also gave of her time by visiting the sick with the Catholic Women’s League.

Reservations and face coverings are required for visitation on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Separate reservations and face coverings are required to attend the Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Avenue (519-969-5841). Reservations may be made online or by calling Families First.
Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
