Obituary for Lisa Anne Graham (Savoy)

Lisa has departed this world. She is onto her next adventure as of Wednesday March 15th 2023 at the age of 51, after a courageous fight with breast cancer.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 29 years Lawrence Graham Jr., high school sweethearts they were inseparable best friends. A forever love that not even death can extinguish.

Lisa’s greatest dream was to be a mother. She was blessed with two beautiful girls Kaitlyn and Emily. She raised them to be amazing caring people and was so proud of the women they became.

Lisa loved being a grandmother to Athena Anne. She fulfilled her dream of being in the room to welcome Athena into the world. Every time she saw her it lit up Lisa’s heart. She was so thankful for Kyle Renaud-McKellar for being a great father to Athena and a loving boyfriend to Kaitlyn.

Lisa loved her family so much. She will be missed by her mother Elaine Savoy, her sister Renée Savoy-Browne and her brother-in-law Mike Browne. She will be reunited with her father Donald Savoy, whom she missed dearly.

She was like a daughter to her in-laws Larry and Rose Graham. She will be missed by Joe and Helen Graham and by her nieces and nephew Grace, Hope, Ethan, and Joy. She will also be missed by her faithful dog Lilly who was beside her the whole time.

We were all so proud of Lisa when at 41 she went to the University of Windsor. In 2017 she got her Bachelor of Social Work with honours in Social Work and Disability Studies. She was so excited when she got her dream job as a Case Worker at ODSP. Lisa loved helping people and working with her co-workers in the Chatham and Windsor offices.

Lisa was a Volunteer at Hospice and the Ronald McDonald House. Lisa loved painting, renovating her house and helping family, friends and peers. She loved spending time with the family, going on vacations, romantic weekends, concerts, and plays. Her love and kindness will be missed in this world.

A thank you to the staff of Hospice for your generosity and care during this difficult time.

A Memorial visiting will be held at Grace Ministries, 3180 Grand Marais Rd. E. Windsor, ON on Saturday March 25, 2023, from 1-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. followed by a Memorial service from 8-9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family recommends donations to Hospice of Windsor or Windsor & Essex Cancer Centre.
