Obituary for Lolita Labonte (nee Gadoury)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lolita, on January 21, 2021 at 82 years of age.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Donald (2006). Cherished mother of Rick (Shannon), Suzanne Boismier (Michael Brunette), Jeff (Edie), and Donita (Gord Osborne). Adored mémé of Darrell, Brad, Keith, Matthew, Jennifer, Sandra, Sarah, Nicole, Halie and their spouses. Devoted great-mémé of 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Solange (André), Dorice (Terry), Patrick, André (Debbie), Danny, Lisette (Mike), Rose, Elaine (Marc), and Carole. Predeceased by her parents Lucien and Eva Gadoury and her siblings Victor (1994) and Mary Ann (1983). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Lolita was a talented and passionate quilter. She shared her talents with the UCFO French Group, Country Cousins, and Woodslee Group. Together they enjoyed quilting, teaching and friendship.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Shoreview at Riverside and W.R.H. – Metropolitan Campus (5th floor) for their outstanding and compassionate care of mom.
