Obituary for Lou Phillip Joughin

Passed away peacefully on March 14, 2023 at 68 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Charlie Joughin. Dear brother of the late Romeo Di Rezze. Lou deeply loved and adored his nieces Tanya Auffret (nee Di Rezze), Jesse Auffret and Meghan Di Rezze. Great uncle of Arielle, Ivy Berry-Auffret and Tyler Diemer. Will be missed by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends. Lou proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces. He was a member of S.W. UN Nato Canada and the Windsor Warriors Veterans Group. The relationship’s he formed with his fellow vets meant the world to Lou, they were more than friends, they were his family. After his years of service, he worked and eventually retired from CP Railway Canada as a mechanical engineer. Lou’s family would like to thank the staff at hospice at the Dr. Y. Emara Complex Care Continuing Care Centre for all of their care and compassion. If you desire memorial tributes to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation to take place. A memorial service celebrating Lou’ s life will be held under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Committee at the RCL Branch 644, 1570 Marentette Ave, on March 30, 2023 at 1pm.
