Lucia D'Alimonte

Our dear mother passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 27, 2019 at 80 years of age. Predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Maria Conte (nee Rosati). Adored Nonna of Tony DiPaolo, Luke DiPaolo (Vanessa), Elizabeth Stecher (Jacob), Rachel Shaw (Aryn), Joshua D’Alimonte, Bethany D’Alimonte and Nicholas D’Alimonte. Beloved Bis Nonna of Kinsley Shaw, Gioia DiPaolo and Lucy Shaw. Dear sister of the late Antonio Conte (Olivia), Graziate DiPaolo (Giuseppe), Anna DiCarlo (Giovanni), Luisa Palumbo (the late Giuseppe), the late Angiolina Palumbo (the late Rocco), the late Rosalia D’Alimonte (the late Frank), the late Donato Conte (the late Maria). Dear sister in law of the late Carmine and late Anginlina D’Alimonte, the late Maria and the late Antonio D’Angelo, the late Santino and the late Ines D’Alimonte, the late Rosalina and the late Donato DiBartlomeo, the late Emidio and Domenica D’Alimonte, Assunte and Giuseppe Rosati, Anna and the late Donato Donofrio, the late Angelina and the late Agostino DiPaolo, Joe and Yolanda D’Alimonte. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Lucia was a loving homemaker to her husband and family. Her legacy is Proverbs 31, verse 25-31. A wonderful cook; she loved her kitchen and preparing food for family. She enjoyed her several years at Reflex Canada and Wismer Farms and Martin Bondy Farms. Our mother was a symbol of strength, faith, and compassion, but mostly love. During her cancer journey, she never once complained. Her unwavering faith and unshakeable spirit was an inspiration to all. Special thanks to LHIN, Dr. Burgess, Erie Shores Hospice Leamington, Paramed nurses Rochelle and Jordan, Dr. Aoun, Palliative Care Unit, Windsor Cancer Centre, Dr. Kanjeekal, Dr. Hirmiz. Many thanks to her family and friends for the visits and love and support.

If you so desire, donations to Hospice of Erie Shores would be appreciated by the family.
