It is with great reverence that we announce the passing of Lucienne at age 96. Her grace and sharp wit stayed with her through her final moments as she died peacefully and joyfully while surrounded by family at Windsor Regional Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Ida and Jack Miner and sister Cecile Tessier (née Miner).
Predeceased by her husband Jerome (2000) and son Jerome Jr. (2009). Proud matriarch of the extensive Giroux family. She will be dearly missed and appreciated by her children Richard (Barb), Claude (Linda), Therese (Phil) Dann, Suzanne, Marc, Jeanne (Marcel) Seguin, Rene, Laurette, Marie (Faheem) Hasnain, John (Anne), Michelle (Terry) Lourenço, Rachelle (Bruno) Lunghi, Daniel (Wendy), and Lisa. Proud Mémé to 27 grandchildren; Blaine Greenshield, Robert Greenshield, Kelly Giroux, David Giroux, Alisa Giroux-Souilliere, Michael Giroux, Coco Lang, Kyle Giroux, Mark Seguin, Christopher Seguin, Jocelyn Holmes, Brett Giroux, Bruce Giroux, Aaron Hasnain, Myles Hasnain, Jacob Giroux, Simon Giroux, Dominique Giroux, Samuel Lourenço, Steven Lourenço, Eric Lourenço, Antonio Lunghi, Luca Lunghi, Rachelle Page, Mitchell Giroux, Thomas Giroux, and Adam Giroux. Lucienne was an inspiration to all who knew her and took great care to foster kindness in the world. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in her memory to Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation, Stigma Enigma, or any other cause that encourages the respect, care, and dignity of those around us.

Visitation on Monday, May 29th at Families First Funeral home, 1065 Lauzon Rd., Windsor Ontario, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 834 Raymo Rd, Windsor, on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.

Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
