Obituary for Madeleine Marie Dora (nee Rivest) Alexander
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Madeleine on April 27, 2021 at 81 years of age. Devoted wife of Leonard for 53 years. Loving mother of Kevin Alexander, Charmaine Foresto (Stefano) and Melissa Alexander-Dionisi (Maurizio). Cherished Mémé of Arlo, Anissa, Athan and Dylan. Dear sister of Lucie Stark, Carmel Belanger (the late Paul), Francis Rivest (Idil), the late Victor Rivest (Patricia), Claire Marie Larente (Leo) and Jerome Rivest. Predeceased by her parents Origene and Dora Rivest (nee Ladouceur) and in-laws Norman and Leda Alexander (nee Roy). She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.
She was a kind, passionate, hardworking and strong woman who cherished all of her family and encouraged them to be successful in life, love and their Catholic Faith. She would always put other people’s needs above her own. She was deeply loved and we will miss her smile and laughter.

On Friday April 30, 2021 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend memorial visitation from 3 – 5 pm and 7 – 9 pm at Families First, South Windsor. On Saturday May 1, 2021, a livestream link of the private Funeral Mass at Corpus Christ Church will be available on Madeleine’s online profile at 10:00 am. A private family interment to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Staples, ON.
