Obituary for Marcella O'Connell (nee Schmidt)
Passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024 at the age of 85.
Loving mother of Dean O’Connell (Kitty Peguese), Dawn (Ron) Wallman, and Darrin O’Connell. Proud Granny of Andrew (Caitie), Evan (Kylie), Liza (Matthew), Daniel, and Matthew. Great-grandma of Hunter and Abigail. Dear sister of the late Maurice (late Ethel), Marilyn (late Ben), John (Betty), Jeannette (Gerry), Bernie (Patti), Rodney, and Rita. She will also be missed by extended family and friends.
As per Marcella’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Transition2Betterness would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Memorial Visiting will take place at Families First Funeral Home in South Windsor on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
