Condolences & Donations

My heartfelt sympathy to all of Marg's family and friends. As a long-time friend of your mother’s, I know how special of a person she was. I feel a great loss at this time. I will forever have the many years of memories to cherish. Even though we were years apart we had a special friendship and bond. She and Ginger (her buddy) often in the neighbourhood out and about for a walk and often over for a visit. Everyone knew Marg and Ginger! Marg always had a smile and happy go lucky. Marg loved life whether it was sharing her garden, cross country skiing, line dancing or boating. She often talked about her family and time in Thunder Bay. She was proud of her family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marg became part of our family. Marg, I will forever miss our visits, your smile and your jokes.
Rest in peace my friend!

A Limb has fallen from the
family tree that says
Grieve not for me.
Remember the BEST TIMES,
the laughter, the song,
the good life I live while I was STRONG.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Buhlman cousins and families. My fondest memories of "Aunt Marg" was when I first learned of her nick name "Rosie" during my first visit to Thunder Bay as a child. And the look she darted at Uncle Jack when he said it! I have great memories of them both and their sharp and loving banter with each other; I credit my love of the outdoors to them and the hikes/walks they took me on when I visited, including my first attempt at cross country skiing. We also smile when thinking of Aunt Marg at our wedding - and how she loved to dance! Often, with Anthony. I think they danced together more than he and I that evening! And in later years being regaled with Aunt Marg's adventures volunteering at the Mission and then taking the tunnel bus to meet and visit/stay over with Aunt Sheila in Michigan. They set a perfect example of independence and grace into the golden years!

Hoping that many memories help in dealing with the loss over the coming days and weeks ahead.

So sorry for your family's loss. Marg leaves behind lots of smiles and happy memories of her time as Lou-Ann's neighbor. They had a wonderful friendship and we loved it when she was still out and about, and when you stopped at Lou-Ann's there was always a quick visit with your Mom and Grandma. We enjoyed the random meetings and there was always a big smile on my sister's face as she would share their antics. Marg, rest in peace! You'll be missed. Thanks for adopting my sister as one of your own. Your Mom was a special lady for sure!
