It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Margaret Louise Jessop who passed away peacefully on October 27, 2023 at 79 years of age after a long battle with progressive dementia. Beloved wife of the late Grant Jessop (2021). Loving mother to Gerald (Tracey), Robert, Alan (MaryGrace) and Garnet. Cherished Grandma to Wyatt. Predeceased by her loving parents, Almond Pace ( 1971) and Anne Pace (1982). Dear sister in law to the late Rosemary Tessier ( 2015) and Jo-Anne Jessop from Port Franks. She will also be missed by her nephews, Kevin (Leigh) and Michael (Chrissy) and her great nieces. Margaret was an avid horse enthusiast and first recording secretary of the Trail Riders ‘Association. She was involved in the Essex County 4H clubs, Essex County Plowman’s Association, Good Fellows, was the first President of the Sandwich South Historical Society, and a member of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church. In addition to her volunteer work, she was a dedicated real estate agent for more than 25 years.
Margaret touched the lives of many as both a dedicated real estate agent and a loving family member. She embraced life with passion, cherishing her roles as a mother, a professional.
Throughout her career as a real estate agent, she demonstrated unwavering commitment and expertise, helping countless individuals and families find their dream homes. Her genuine care for her clients and her exceptional knowledge of the market made her a trusted advisor in her local community.
Beyond her professional achievements, our mother had a deep love for horses. She found solace and joy in their presence, spending countless hours riding and caring for these majestic creatures. Her connection with horses was a testament to her gentle nature and her appreciation for the beauty of nature.
Above all, our mother's greatest joy came from her family. She was a pillar of strength and support, always putting the needs of her loved ones before her own. Her unconditional love and unwavering dedication created a warm and nurturing home that will forever be cherished.
Our mother's legacy will live on through the memories we hold dear and the values she instilled in us. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
We would like to thank all the caregivers that have taken care of our mother over the past years.
May our dear mother rest in eternal peace, knowing that her love and impact will forever be remembered.
If you so desire, donations to Alzheimer Society of Windsor/Essex or St. Stephen's Church would be appreciated by the family.
