It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Maria on December 11, 2018 at 64 years of age. Beloved wife of 43 years to Jorge. Cherished mother of Sandra Silva – Rajic (Tommy), and Ricardo “Ricky”. Adored grandma “Avó” of Gabriela and Miguel. Predeceased by her parents Antonio Medeiros and Maria dos Anjos Medeiros. Loving sister of the late Manuel Medeiros (the late Conceição), the late José Medeiros (Geraldina), Olinda Silva (Leonel), and Abilio Medeiros (Maria da Luz). Dear sister-in-law of the late Maria Melo (the late Antonio), Angela Mauricio (the late Manuel), Manuel Silva (Zelia), and Carlos Silva (Rosa). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, U.S. and Portugal.
