On March 14, 2021 at 70 years of age surrounded by her family. Wife/partner/best friend of Rick for 48 years, beloved mother of Amy (Gord) and John and adored grandma of Sasha and Lila. Dear sister of Mary Lynn McQuarrie (the late Don) and Jim Sloss (Sharon). Susan was predeceased by her parents Elwood and Betty Sloss. Raised on Manitoulin Island, Susan was proud of her roots. She had a feisty spirit and great sense of humour. Encouraged by her lifelong love of reading, Susan regularly gave books on birthdays and holidays to the children in her life, including the children of friends and neighbours, her grandchildren as well as her great-nieces and great-nephew. Susan taught for over 32 years and retired from A.V. Graham Public School.
