Age 94 years, passed away due to dementia on December 27, 2018 at The Wenleigh Long Term Care Residence in Mississauga. Marie was a lifelong Windsor resident, but lived her final six years in Mississauga.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, Stanley (1987) and will be missed by her children, Cheslea (Mary Ann) and Pat (Chuck), grandchildren Wade (Lauren), Jordan (Julie), Lise (Vanessa) and Donna (Matt) and several very special nieces, nephews and friends. Marie was the last living member of John and Sophia Cheslea’s family—Walter (Mary), Mildred (Clarence), Julia (Matt), Anne (Frank), Tony (Phyllis) and Veronica. She was also predeceased by all 13 in-laws of the MacNeil Family.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Canada or The Windsor Goodfellows.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 31st from 9:30-11am, followed by a mass, both held at St. John Vianney Church, 385 Dieppe Street, Windsor. Thereafter, her internment will take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
