Condolences & Donations

To the Family of Marie Jarecki,
I was sorry to learn of Marie's passing. I knew her for only a while during the short time that my father, Bob, was a resident with her at Seasons. They enjoyed their meals together at the same table and quickly became friends - sharing stories for hours after their meals were done and learning that they had friends and former colleagues in common. Unfortunately, my father became ill and quickly passed away, but the time that he was able to share with Marie and the joy that she brought to his life will not be forgotten by our family. She was a wonderful lady with a heart of gold. We are thankful that we had the opportunity to have met her.

To the Jarecki Family:
How to describe your mother: a lady with a wonderful laugh, a twinkle in her eye, a great sense of humor, beautiful smile, fantastic cook, boundless energy, able to overcome adversity and still laugh and smile, always wise and kind, positive energy, totally charming, an elegant dresser, a can-do attitude person.
She loved her husband, children, siblings, grandchildren/nieces/nephews and made everyone feel so special. She was one special mother, grandmother, aunt and sister to my father.
We will all miss the beautiful Lady Marie - she will be in everyone's heart forever!!

Love,

Joanne,
I’m so sorry for your loss, I loved your mom! All my high school memories include you and your family. I often tell people how you and I as only teenagers would ride the tunnel bus over to Detroit, visit with your mom at Hudson’s then go shopping. Remember smuggling back our navy and white saddle shoes. I also remember what an awesome cook your mom was. You are so blessed to have had such a strong and vibrant role model to learn from, I did not realize her age, you were given many more years of her than most children get from their parents. They say there is no friends like old friends, I agree but I’ve always considered you to be more of a sister to me so please let me help you get through this terrible time in your life.❤️
Love Cindy

Thanks for the notice . I do watch the Windsor Star obits daily and would not have missed the notice
Thinking of Marie makes me smile . She was a real treat . Very unique person .
We are in Vancouver . . Becky had a hip replaced this week . Kind of slow go , no go . Just support Becky week .
i was just telling my son in law stories of your mom and dad .
Your dad's technical brilliance . Your mom's powerful personality .
Your mom was a take no prisoners type of personality . A very powerful gal in many ways .
Marie coined the phrase for me " Cool your jets ! " It was very effective .
Marie hired that Jewish law firm in Detroit to track down that car that hit your dad on Jefferson Avenue after that foundry dinner . . That was essentially brilliant .
We watched the lunar landing " A small step for man a giant step for mankind " on your families Zenith colour TV . You guys were way ahead of your time .
Your mom tracking you on your first night out after coming home at 6:30 am from the seminary . She still forgave me .
Your mom being one of the first mothers to actually work in industry ( retail ) . She started a trend for feminists .
My mother in law did the same in Saginaw ( JC Penny's ) also a powerful personality .
I hope this loss does not effect Bob too much . I am sure that he is very vulnerable to these emotional events .
Now you join the ranks of " the orphans " . I've been calling myself an orphan for twenty years now . .
Not to be taken lightly . You will miss her counsel and her opinion . But most of all her unconditional love for you and your family .

God bless her and condolences to you all from Sue and I
