Our beloved mother passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 92 after an acute period of illness. We will remember her as a very loving mother, kind person and generous soul. Always supportive and comforting to her daughter in every decision and situation in life, very involved and helping to raise her granddaughter. During her life, she was a kindergarten teacher, very much enjoying working with children. Later on in life when she became a widow, she came to Canada. The day she became a Canadian Citizen she was very happy and moved by the ceremony. After seven wonderful years spent with her family here, she unfortunately fell ill, needing special care and became resident of Riverside Place Nursing Home. All the staff there were very attentive and kind to her.

Reunited with her parents Elena & Iosif Andresescu and her loving husband Aurel (1997). Her daughter Stela Popescu, son-in-law Horatiu, her cherished granddaughter Andreea, as well as extended family Darius & Claudia Popescu will miss her. Relatives from Romania, her native country, Mircea Popescu, Alecsander & Florica Ciocan, their children Loredana & Adrian, will treasure her memory.

Visiting on Thursday January 26, 2023 from 5:30-7pm with prayers at 6pm at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor, 519-969-5841.

Visiting will resume Friday January 27, 2023 after 10am at Descent of the Holy Ghost Romanian Orthodox Church (2895 Seminole St.) until time of Funeral Service at 11am.
Burial to follow Windsor Memorial Gardens.
