I was a student of Marion’s at Dougall Ave. school and what an amazing teacher she was and we kept in touch over many years. She and Vic did more for International relations than did the United Nations! So sorry to learn of her demise, but know that she is well remembered and in a good place.

Marion was a mother/support to many international students and young adults that came to study or live in this city of Windsor. She and her husband Vic for many years had a big roast beef dinner on most Sundays for many years, for those that showed up. Their positive influence reached into many homes and countries. They encouraged many, and shared the love of Christ to all no matter what colour, religion, or country they belonged to. Marion and Vic, we love you, and have been changed in a positive way because of your life.

Marion was our mother Mae Carter's table-mate at Tecumseh Extendicare, and became a good friend to our mother. Marion was always cheerful, kind and had a wonderful smile. She was beautiful inside and out. Marion consistently offered kind words and thoughts to us when we visited. She will be sadly missed! Bill & Carol Storie

Aunt Marion was an amazing lady with a huge heart. She lived life authentically. She navigated life's twists and turns with grace and community. I saw Jesus in her. She had no biological children but oh, so many spiritual children. Her home was filled with laughter, tears, hope and kindness. As a child, teen and adult, I would stand in front of the pin board of photos and wonder... These photos were of people who had come to their home over the years and enjoyed Sunday meals, true fellowship and Christian hospitality. She wrote birthday cards to hundreds of people each year for as long as she could. Her legacy will be felt for generations!
