So sad to recently hear of Mary's passing. Went to high school with Mary and worked with her at Consumers Distributing in the late 1970's. She was a lovely person, always in good spirits and a pleasure to be around. From

I am saddened to hear of Mary's passing! Although we didn't see each other as much over the years...I've never forgotten the fun times we enjoyed and her deep concern for others and generous spirit! She had such a quick wit with a mischievous sense of humour! You will be truly missed dear friend! 💔💔From

Mary and The Carlesimo Family,
Mary was a mentor, teacher, counselor, go to, pillar, post and an absolute golden friend. There's only one Mary Carlesimo and we are proud to say that she was part of our life in so many ways. I really don't think that Mary thought of that, she was just there. We have kept in contact with each other over all these years and cherished every moment. Her wisdom and candid approach is precisely what kept so many of us continuing to seek her advise. We live on through Mary. We each have been given a part of Mary. We all will Love and Care for her in our hearts forever. A top tier Angel waiting to guide and protect any one of us in need. Mary will be the shoulder to cry on or to strengthen us and push us to go forward and make things better. It's Mary.
We send our deepest condolences to the incredible Carlesimo Family and send our warmest thoughts and Prayers.
Love Always,
John, Fatima, Jordan, Jansen, Andrew, Olivia & Nathan Lefrancois formerly of Windsor Ontario and now in New Brunswick From

To our warm, loving and generous sister / aunt who will be dearly missed:
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around you and whispered, "Come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away,
And though we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hands were put to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best.
Forever in our hearts. From

Mary was such a beautiful soul. We were close friends during our early journey into teaching. A smart woman with a razor-sharp wit and a kind person, very empathetic with others. We had just connected since our retirements and I am so sad that we had not managed to get together. Many fond memories of this special lady will stay forever in my heart.

My deepest condolences to Mary’s family and friends. It was an honour to teach at Queen Elizabeth Public School with Mary. Her passion for social justice touched the lives of hundreds of students and colleagues over the years. She brought smiles and laughter, entertaining us with a subtle wit. She was a gifted communicator. Mary’s generous nature and love for teaching found her back in the classroom to volunteer even after retirement. Her kindness and generosity will be an inspiration to family, friends, students, and colleagues.
With Heartfelt Sympathy,

I treasure the many wonderful times spent with Mary during my university days. We had many adventures in my green VW beetle. We had just reconnected on Facebook after her retirement from teaching and were planning to reunite. It saddens me greatly that I never had the chance to see her again. I will greatly miss your laughter and sense of humour but mostly the kindness always shown to me. My friend, the angels await you. Keeping you in my prayers.
