Mary was my grandmother's cousin. On behalf of Marys Finnish relatives in Ikaalinen I send our deepest condolences. Unfortunately we only met a couple of times. It was an honor and privilege to kow you and have you as a relative, Mary. Rest in peace.

What can you say about a family matriarch? Mary was a Grand Lady who lived her life her way. I found her stories and trips fascinating. I was fortunate to spend a couple of days with her just before her death. She & I talked about so many issues, family, travels & even religion (which was always our favorite topic next to memories she had of my son, Jon-Paul). It was my honour and privilege to have had her in my life. Mary, I hope you were pleasantly surprised.
