On November 23, 2022, at the age of 56, "Jane" peacefully departed with loving family near her side.

Beloved mother of Richard and Jessica Dorion (Tom). She leaves behind her parents, Patricia Anne Dorion (Donald Dorion) and Douglas Markie (Theresa Jollymore) Dear sister of Charlotte Longmuir and Doug Markie, as well as Jeff, Murray, Mark and Greg. Jane will be lovingly remembered by family and friends of Ontario and Nova Scotia. Both provinces were considered home to our Jane, and she was so fortunate to have a lifetime of fond memories in each.

Jane loved spending time with her children; enjoyed reading, cheering on for the Detroit Red Wings, playing solitaire, watching tv including Hudson and Rex, and Live! With Kelly & Ryan. A florist by passion she learned to appreciate the little things in life but most of all she enjoyed cuddling with her cat, Shadow, in her retirement.

Jane may live forever in our hearts and memories. If we happen to come across or smell a lilac on our journey that is just Jane saying hello.
