Johnson, Mary Veronica (Grandma) (nee McNamara)

Peacefully on March 4, 2004 at 97 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Tobias Johnson (1975). Loving mother of Evelyn and husband Leonard Charbonneau, Bernard (1991) husband of Mary Johnson, Don (Scotty) and wife Helen, Joan and husband Jerry Durham, Helen and husband Ted Fontaine (1996), Arnold (1979) husband of Ruby, Patrick (1993) husband of June, Brian and wife Marta. Dearest sister of Leo McNamara (deceased), Gertrude Coyle, Edward McNamara (deceased). Cherished Grandma of 34 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by nieces and nephews. If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Saturday 7 to 9pm, Sunday 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. Prayers Sunday 4pm at Families First Funeral Home (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Avenue. On Monday family and friends are invited to meet at Holy Name of Mary Church (681 McEwan Avenue) after 8:30am. followed by funeral Mass at 9:30am. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
